Step 1
Plum collection
In the first phase of the prune manufacturing process, large quantities of ripe and healthy prunes are gathered from our plantation. These fruits are then transported to our processing facility. Here, they are sorted to remove any unsuitable or damaged specimens. Good plums are washed thoroughly to remove any residues or impurities.
Step 2
Controlled drying
After being prepared, the cleaned and washed plums are transferred to special drying ovens. At this stage, moisture is gradually removed from the fruit, allowing it to retain its flavour and nutritional content. Temperature and humidity in the ovens are precisely controlled to ensure uniform and quality drying. This process can take several hours or even days, depending on the type of oven and the size of the fruit.

Packaging and delivery
With passion and care, our process begins by carefully packing our prunes to preserve their rich flavours and exceptional quality. After each fruit is neatly packed, we are dedicated to bringing them straight to your home, so you can enjoy their delicious and healthy taste in the privacy of your own room. Prunes with yoghurt and nuts
Ingredient:
- Dried plums
- Natural yoghurt
- Nuts (ground or coarsely chopped)
Instructions:
- Wash the prunes and dry them with a kitchen towel.
- In a small bowl, mix the natural yoghurt with the ground or chopped walnuts.
- Serve the prunes with the yogurt and walnut mixture.
This simple recipe can be served as a healthy and nutritious snack or as a quick and savory breakfast. You can adjust the quantities to your preference and you can also add honey or other dried fruit for extra sweetness and flavour. Enjoy!
Dried plums wrapped in bacon
Ingredient:
- Dried plums, pitted
- Thin slices of bacon (1 slice per plum)
- Raisins (optional, for filling)
- Chilli peppers or chilli sauce (optional, for extra flavour)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and prepare a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- If using raisins for the filling, stick one in each dried prune instead of the pits.
- Wrap each dried plum in a slice of bacon, making sure the bacon is securely wrapped around the plum.
- If you like, you can add a small pinch of chilli pepper inside each plum before wrapping in bacon.
- Place bacon-wrapped plums on prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the plums in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the bacon is crisp and golden brown.
- Once ripe, remove the plums from the oven and allow them to cool slightly before serving.
These bacon-wrapped prunes are a great snack for parties or to enjoy with a favorite drink. You can serve them as an appetizer or as part of a larger meal. Enjoy!
Prunes in smoothie
Ingredient:
- 1 cup prunes
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup of Greek yogurt or almond yogurt (for a vegan option)
- 1/2 cup milk (you can use cow’s milk, almond milk or any other type of milk you prefer)
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional, for extra sweetness)
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (optional, for flavouring)
Instructions:
- Put the prunes in a small bowl and pour hot water over them. Let them sit for about 10-15 minutes to hydrate a bit.
- After the plums have softened, drain the water and put them in the blender.
- Add the ripe banana, Greek or almond yoghurt and milk to the blender.
- If you want a sweeter smoothie, add honey.
- You can optionally add cinnamon to boost the flavour.
- Blend all ingredients until you have a creamy, smooth smoothie.
- Taste and adjust if needed, adding more honey or cinnamon, depending on your preference.
